Is this gambling or a lottery?
No. Our competitions are run as free draws under Schedule 2 of the Gambling Act 2005: every competition can be entered free by post, the free route is publicised as clearly as paid entry, and free entries have exactly the same chance of winning. How free entry works.
How do I enter for free?
Post your full name, address, date of birth, phone number, email address and the competition name in an envelope (ordinary first or second class stamp) to . One entry per envelope, received before the competition closes. Full rules.
When is the draw?
On the end date shown, or earlier if every ticket sells. The winner is picked at random from all valid entries using a secure random number generator, and the result is published on our winners page.
What are instant wins?
Some ticket numbers are pre-selected as instant wins. If one of your allocated numbers matches, you win that prize immediately – you'll see it on your order confirmation.
Can I take cash instead of the prize?
Most prizes have a tax-free cash alternative shown on the competition page.
Is there a limit on tickets?
Yes – every competition has a maximum number of tickets per person to keep things fair. You must be 18+ and a UK resident to enter.
